2022 A New Year!

A big warm welcome to all our new families and pupils that have recently joined the school, it’s lovely to have you.

We have hit the ground running in the Academy. After a lovely restful Christmas, we are working hard for a bumper year.

It is the 30th Anniversary of the Fleur Elizabeth Academy and so big plans are in progress for a reunion party, a huge celebratory show and as always lots of ISTD exams!

February half term sees 5 days of exams and the pupils are really looking fabulous at the moment. We are nearly there with the completion of all the work and over the next 2 weeks, some parents will be coming in to watch mock exam classes. Then its go go go on the show choreography!

Showtime is always the most exciting and favourite time for the pupils, getting back on stage and feeling the thrill of performing! Maybe not so thrilling for Miss Fleur.....as there is A LOT of work involved!

We have had a great, productive training session with our senior teaching assistant's this term. Miss Fleur delivered a session covering every aspect of "assisting" at class and all 6 helpers really learnt and grew in their knowledge.

We are looking forward to dancing with all our Mums on Mothers Day Saturday. And we are also excited about another theatre trip to see Diversity in April.

Once the show is over and life calms down again in the Academy, we will be having our Academy picnic on Beverley Westwood and Summer School at the end of the summer hols.

As always the school continues to grow in strength, community spirit and love for our shared passion for dance and the performing arts.
